Liew: Memo on MA63 Special Cabinet Committee sent

Datuk Liew Vui Keong
SINGAPORE: A memorandum on the Special Cabinet Committee on Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) has been sent to the various federal ministries as well as Sabah and Sarawak governments for further suggestion and feedback, said de facto law minister Datuk Liew Vui Keong.
“So far, everything is going according to plan and the line-up of the Special Cabinet Committee will be made known as soon as the Federal Cabinet endorses it in the coming Cabinet meeting,” he said when contacted by the media yesterday regarding the status of the Special Cabinet Committee on the MA63.
Liew is currently in Singapore leading a Malaysian delegation to the 39th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary (AIPA) for five days beginning Sept 3.
He is accompanied by the Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Datuk Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof and 17 other Members of Parliament (MPs).
A total of ten Commonwealth countries are expected to attend the conference where participants will have the chance to exchange views and work on draft resolutions of current issues.
According to Liew, the return of status for both Sabah and Sarawak in accordance to the MA63 is one of the five pillars under the Pakatan Harapan manifesto.
Its main task is to review and propose measures to rectify the status of MA63 based on current legislation, he said.
He said the Special Cabinet Committee is a high powered Committee consisting of the country’s top leadership from the Peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak.
“It’s reassuring for both Sabahans and Sarawakians to hear of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s recent remarks on MA63 when he said the government will revive the agreement made during Malaysia’s formation,” Liew said.
Dr Mahathir at a dialogue session during the ‘Future of the Bumiputera and Nation Congress 2018’ on Saturday also said the Pakatan Harapan government will ensure that Sabah and Sarawak will receive the same benefits as other peninsular states.
Therefore, Liew said this shows the Pakatan Harapan government is committed to restoring Sabah and Sarawak’s position to their rightful place, in line with the MA63.

My comments:
Dr. M, the old fox, whom we Sarawakians at least 70% who had undergone through the traumatic experience during his tenure as PM in 1981 up to 2003 --22 years plus really hate and despise.  MA63 agreement to him is nothing but just a piece of paper with no value.
70% of Sarawakians, I believe, are in favour of seceding the federation of Malaysia  for good.  Malaysia  is not registered as a country but a federation only in the book of United Nations.  We are clear enough that Sarawak and Sabah were just  entrusted  to the Malayan government at that time.  Dur to ignorance, we have been subjected to their supremacy and oppressive rules for so long.
These plunderers, exploiters, robbers, oppressors and bullies in the name of Malaysia have been plundering, exploiting, robbing, suppressing, oppressing and bullying us at will.
We Sarawakians have set our minds to secede the Federation of Malaya for good and we believe Sabah will follow suit.  Time is up.
After plundering so much resources from us, they still suppress us on upgrading and construction of the only highway we have from one end of Sarawak to Sabah.  How can we endure anymore?
     No extreme will last.
We do not think that these federal plunderers will respect MA63.  Only fools will believe their sugar-coated words.
