A horn call

A horn call
Tiong Tai King, Vincent Goh, Chieng Ben Tuong ………….are said to be very unhappy to have lost in the 10th election.  To express their anger and frustration for the lack of support of Sibu people towards their ‘big’ effort in the past, they decided not to hold the Borneo Cultural Festival which they claimed to be able to bring about millions of ringgit to Sibu as it generates great economic activities.
Well, if it it true the  Borneo Festival can really and really bring so much wealth to Sibu people, Tiong Tai King who still chairs SMC should practise the spirit of sportsmanship and also the spirit of democracy by the people, for the people and of the people or we advise him to resign for good.
It is abuse of power for using his position to do what he wants as against the interests and benefits of the mass.  He should be grateful being able to occupy the seat of the SMC chairperson for so long but has not brought anything significant to Sibu people.  The Borneo Cultural Festival as claimed seems to be the only one that brings $ (not wasting $) to Sibu people.  (hng………..sounds of despise).
We people want him to know that he has jeopardised his position and he would lose his post as national respresentative in the 13th election.  He should be prepared to face the harsher fact.  They should not behave like spoilt rotten who want to win all the time.  They should emulate the leaders in the opposition parties as they have the fighting spirits to face the loss in preparation for the win and so they won eventually.
Yes, for sure, we people want the rule of alternate party for the health and proper growth and development of democracy.  In short, we believe in the country which is run alternately by bi-partisan coalition to be better as what we see how good it is to have bi-partisan coalition to run for the progress of the country as in Taiwan.
Now we people are even more aware that it is not good-lah for a person who runs for state / national representative to hold the chairperson position of municipal council for too long.  This is the bad practice and policy of the BN coalition.  We people expect the PR coalition to change when they come to power one day and we believe the day when the PR takes over the power will come soon or it is getting nearer and nearer.  Just wait and see!
