Blog and Tweet 24/8/2018 Mindset for Independence Sarawak

Blog and Tweet 24/8/2018    Mindset for Independence Sarawak
Who is still not sick of the ones who always speak of the autonomy rights of Sarawak from the standpoint of Federation of Malaysia which stands for nothing to us Sarawak but plundering, exploitation, robbing, collusion and corruption?  When David Teng, the lawyer speaks about the status and autonomy of Sarawak, he is deeply bound hands and legs by the Federal laws which I doubt are impartial to Sarawak and Sabah but he slavishly upholds them as if they were Bible or Quran or Buddhist Holy Scripture so much disgust to us S4S.
To S4S who have set their minds to secede for good, we defy any Federal laws set to bound us hands and legs.  The Federal laws have become meaningless to us who want to break the tethers to get free.  We have been subjected to unfair treatment for half a century more.  Is it not enough for us to seek justification to get free?
Many Federated-minded political clowns always speak from the standpoint of Federation of Malaysia.  They have become so habituated to the Federal rules since 1963.  Abdul Karim is another typical person so habituated ever ready to bow and bend to the Federation.  I have seen him slavishly admit Sarawak as a state (13th in the rank) several times in the newspaper.
Nowadays, many political clowns are ever ready to utter their care to protect Sarawak autonomy when the waves have gathered more and more force which may swallow them in the next Sarawak election.  Will the political clowns of X-BN, now under the coat of GPS still stand the chance to win?  How many in % can they win the election? Now they tune in to our melody and dance awkwardly.
I belong to S4S keluar Malaysia to secede for good and I believe more and more will join this group.  Sarawak Manifestoes @ 2018 are the layout and direction for Independence Sarawak.  It is a dream to be realised sooner or later when we set our minds to fulfill.  We have been oppressed and suppressed long enough to endure anymore.
No weapons of any kind can win when people set their mind to fight to win.  Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan  ……………………. became independent.  Yes, I believe that more and more Sarawakians harbour the same dream as I for Independence Sarawak.  It is idiotic and morbid to believe that the Malayan government will abide by MA63.  These political clowns are morbidly sick to speak from the standpoint of Federation of Malaysia when the Federal masters break every rule of agreement in MA63 and you talk about Federal laws to follow to uphold.

More important to recognise Sabah, Sarawak as co-founders of Malaysia — Rafizi

Nancy Lai, reporters@theborneopost.com
Rafizi Ramli
KOTA KINABALU: PKR vice president Rafizi Ramli is of the opinion that recognising Sabah and Sarawak as co-founders of Malaysia is more important than appointing deputy prime ministers from the two states as promised by the party.
Rafizi who is vying for the PKR deputy president post stressed that the party’s central leadership has to ensure that it will take a more drastic approach in assisting Sabah to get Putrajaya to respect Sabah’s position as one of three components and not one of 14 states in Malaysia.
Speaking to Sabah PKR members during a fund raising event here on Saturday night, Rafizi however pointed out that for that to happen, people in Peninsular Malaysia must accept the historical fact that Sabah and Sarawak are founders of Malaysia.
The recognition, he pointed out, has to come from every side of the equation – it cannot be seen as a demand by Sabahans or Sarawakians. It has to be seen that this is a recognition (accorded) with open arms out of sincerity and also fairness.
“That we must accord the right position for Sabah and Sarawak as components of the federation of Malaysia, not just a state and that process has to happen soon. I have no qualms from among the leadership of PKR to assert that narrative because I don’t see any wrong with it.
“Of course there will be some consternation in the beginning because people feel the last 40 years, the perception in Peninsular especially, that Sabah and Sarawak are part of 14 states.
“It is not easy to change that perception overnight but we have to start putting a different narrative and that has to come equally from senior leadership of Peninsular Malaysia,” he said.
Rafizi said it was best to get this narrative accepted with open arms by everyone now rather than later.
“And that is a very clear message from PKR Sabah and that is the message I am willing to take back to the leadership in Peninsular Malaysia and it is a responsibility that all of us have to carry not just because we want votes from Sabah but it is actually part and parcel of our commitment to a ‘new Malaysia’ which we have fought for all this while,” he said.
He also pointed out that there are many ways of putting the right narrative out especially to the younger generation and that in the long run there is a need to ensure the right context of the understanding of the country’s history. That issue is not just unique to the understanding of the formation of Malaysia, but it also transcends all other issues in terms of race relations and independence among others, Rafizi said.
But as with anything else in this country, it all begins with the right political leadership and it has to be seen that the country’s leaders are serious and committed to putting Sabah and Sarawak in the rightful context as one of the founders of the Malaysian Federation.
“This is something that does not have to wait – it is something that can be done now. The narrative has to start changing now and that is something that I think I feel quite strongly as well because it is a low hanging fruit and is something that we can do quite readily without having to change much.
“Accepting that Sabah and Sarawak as two of the founders of the Malaysian Federation is something that can be done as a matter of political principle and that can happen very quickly.   We just need more political leadership from Peninsular Malaysia to keep saying it and keep focusing on it,” he said.

My comments:
Is it possible for these Malayan political clowns to take Sarawak and Sabah as entities properly and seriously?  Don't wait until we set mind to secede for good.  After all, we have all the rights to do.  Degrading Sabah and Sarawak as 12th and 13th states are unconstitutional.  It is ab illegal practice and is subjected to prosecution for breaching the Agreement of MA63.

Ba Kelalan road trip exposes visitors to rural-urban infrastructure gap

A section of the earth road leading to Ba Kelalan.

A muddy stretch of the road following a downpour.
SIBU: A recent road trip from Lawas to the highlands of Ba Kelalan proved an eye-opener for a group of friends on the huge difference in rural-urban infrastructure.
In relating her recent visit with a group of friends, Sibu lass Sharon Ling told The Borneo Post that the five-hour, 150km journey was “bumpy, uncomfortable and left everyone feeling dizzy”.
“I really hope the government would do something about the roads leading to the highlands because the current condition is really quite a shame.
“It would greatly boost the image of the destination, as well as the state, if the journey there is comfortable,” she said.
Ling said the trip allowed her and her friends to see first-hand the day-to-day life of rural folk and what they have to put up with when it comes to the condition of their roads.
“The huge gap in infrastructure facilities separating rural and urban folks really opened our eyes.
“With Baru Bian now the MP for Selangau as well as Works Minister, I hope he can improve the infrastructure in rural areas. After all, Ba Kelalan is his state constituency,” she said.
Ling added she plans to make a return trip to Ba Kelalan in two years, and hopes for a more comfortable trip then.
Despite the poor road condition, she said she was touched by the community spirit shown by Ba Kelalan folk.
“When a car broke down along the way, passers-by would stop their vehicles to offer help. This kind of tight-knit community spirit is commendable and should always be maintained regardless of how much development comes in future.”

My comments:
What a curse!  What a pity!  What a shame!  This is the curse of Federation since 1963.

S4S manifesto seeks to enrich people, strengthen economy

Tan (third right) speaking at the press conference prior to revealing their manifesto yesterday.
KUCHING: The Sarawak for Sarawakians (S4S) movement says its ‘The Sarawak Manifesto@2018’ focuses on six main areas in effort to strengthen Sarawak’s economy and enrich the people.
The six main areas are to reform and strengthen various institutions namely: an independent Sarawak financial system; Petros to proclaim oil and gas in Sarawak; a new Sarawak education system; a new Sarawak healthcare system; Sarawak defence system; and immigration and control.
“If we manage to restore our autonomy, the state can stand by itself for future generations,” S4S spokesperson K C Tan told a press conference held at a hotel here yesterday.
He elaborated that the manifesto also seeks to extend the role of Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) as a commercial bank to enable all Sarawakians to open an account at the bank.
“Non-local banks to have at least 30 per cent of their shares owned by Sarawakians, restore and re-issue Sarawak stamp and bank notes and set up a Sarawak sovereign wealth fund,” he added.
Touching on oil and gas, the Sarawak government he said should take full ownership and control of petrol.
“The state should execute the judicial power of the Oil and Mining Ordinance 1958 to shut down operation of any company that failed to comply with Petros by Dec 31 this year,” said Tan.
During the press conference, he also revealed that an estimated 850,000 barrels of oil are “taken” out of Sarawak amounting to US$51,000,000 a day (based on US$60 a barrel).
With such fund, Sarawak he said would have more than enough to develop the state as well as providing every Sarawakian RM4,412 each year (based on a 2.7 million population).
With the money in the state coffer, the manifesto he said could provide free education and free healthcare for Sarawakians.
“This will also enable the state government to sponsor more Sarawak students and athletes for major international academic and sports competitions,” he added.
Touching on defence, Sarawak he said should revive the Sarawak Rangers, the Sarawak Border Scouts as well as forming Sarawak Coast Guard.
Tan further added that the manifesto also includes the restoration of the Sarawak passport, passport system for non-Sarawak citizens upon entry to the state and having Sarawak’s own immigration and customs department.
“All taxes which are collected should also directly be channeled to the state Treasury,” he added.
S4S he said also proposed the Sarawak government take actions to announce the reduction in electricity tariff, reinstate local council election, establish a Sarawak Central Bank, enforce passport system upon entry to Sarawak, make available study loans or bonds for Sarawak’s top students, announce the findings of the MA63 findings from the London trip in 2016, stop all ceremonies relating to the National Day celebration on Aug 31 and take over MASwings and make it a subsidiary of Hornbill Skyways.
“I have also passed a hard copy of this manifesto to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing, Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Sim Kui Hian and Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah at their respective offices,” he added.
S4S he added will also email the manifesto to all the remaining State Legislative Assembly members.

My comments:
I repeat, Sarawak belongs to nobody but to every Sarawakian.  More and more of us are mind-set for Independence Sarawak.  We are not main-main and we are serious to seek for independence.  This is just the beginning and the sketch of Sarawak.  When 80% of Sarawakians stand behind this movement and cause, the charted course for  Independence Sarawak is not too far away from us.  I believe that more than 80% of Sarawakians scream for independence Sarawak.

PBDSB questions significance of Aug 31 for Sarawakians

KUCHING: Sarawakians are aware of the state’s position in the initial formation of Malaysia (Federation of Malaysia) and the year it was formed. Now, in every Sarawakian’s mind, why is Malaysia celebrating its 61st anniversary of Independence Day and not 55th anniversary instead? What is the significance of Aug 31 for Sarawak?

Silvia John
Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) had been monitoring the past events and developments when it comes to August 31 every year and queried why the Sarawak government is still allowing itself to be compelled by the federal government to spend millions of ringgit every year to hold an official celebration on every Aug 31.
“Ever since the awareness of MA63 was widely spread by Sarawak4Sarawakians NGO group, which was even well acknowledged with full recognition by the previous late Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Pehin Sri) Adenan Satem, Sarawakians’ knowledge of the genuine history has begun to turn a new page, especially on the issue of Sarawak’s autonomous rights which is supposed to be restored after the emergency proclamations had been lifted November 2011,” says PBDSB Women chief Silvia John in a press statement.
Ever since 2015, as declared by Adenan, the Sarawak government has been celebrating July 22 as ‘Sarawak Day’, which is also declared as an official public holiday in Sarawak, in remembrance of Sarawak obtaining self-governance on July 22, 1963; before being one of the sovereign nations together with the Federation of Malaya, Sabah and Singapore, to equally form Federation of Malaysia on Sept 16, 1963.
“The main question now, the Aug 31 celebration by the state government would only further confuse the younger generation on the true authentic and genuine history of Sarawak being part of the Federation of Malaysia. Even in schools, ever since before, the history of Sarawak being in Malaysia and the significance of its independence day being taught was already misleading until to this very day; currently, all of August 31 celebration promo is currently promoting its 61st anniversary but in actual fact, Sarawak has only been part of Malaysia for 55 years, where are the logical facts about it?” questioned Silvia.
The recent statement made by Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing mentioned that Sarawakians should not be celebrating on Aug 31 as it has nothing to do with Sarawak, saying it is actually Malaya’s Independence Day.
But the weird part is, why the president of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) suddenly had the guts to speak of it now but not during their glorious Barisan Nasional (BN) Sarawak days, she claimed.
“Especially PRS supreme council members had begun to even dare to speak of Sarawak’s rights now. Why didn’t PRS speak of it after November 2011 onwards during their BN Sarawak days? Out of a sudden, being part of the newly formed coalition Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), it seems the coalition had finally given them the boldness and bravery to speak like Sarawakians. Why not act like a genuine Sarawak coalition during their BN days before? What is the significance of doing it now?” asked Silvia.
For the record, Masing had in September 2014 been quoted to say “Everyone now knows that Aug 31 is Malaya’s and Sabah’s independence day… it is not our independence day. They can celebrate it both in Malaya and in Sabah as they have the same independence day date, and we can join them there if they invite us. We must right the wrong.

My comments:
Is the Sarawak government with the new name and coat of GPS still eager to squander millions to repeat the same meaningless acts celebrating August 31st for the Malaya Independence Day?

Yes, with the awareness of Sarawakians in general, the political thugs under the name of GPS should behave themselves if they do not want to be condemned and cursed.

Blog and Tweet       15/8/2018
