The deluge /ˈdeljuːdʒ/ from the various dams upstream has almost submerged
the houses in Selangau which is about 134 km from Bintulu and 84 km from Mukah. To me, it is not considered serious as all
the people still had enough time to leave the place. So,
there are no casualties.
I only have one hope
that these people and more people will be wakened by the flood water. I hope that they are not fooled to think that
the incessant rain in the area caused the devastating floods.
