A Letter to Sibu Municipal Council

A Letter to Sibu Municipal Council                 19/5/2013
Dear Chairman and the enforcement officers,
On behalf of all the stall-holders at the wet market ,  I plead you always to think before you fine any stall-holders at the wet market /not.
For the stall-holders at the wet market,   I believe you know so well that the stalls are a bit too small for them to do their business comfortably.   The table is too small and the space between one stall and another vertically is at least One and a half feet smaller.   The stall-holders find it hard to accommodate the Orange boxes though you have improved the facilities like the good drianage and slanting table
When the stall-holders told you the fact, someone told them to leave / do business elsewhere.  Well, well, well, well, it is not democratic in practice.  Being democratic means [People First.  Your boss!], you must consider their needs and resolve the problems with them.  You don’t act bossy to them.  It is abusive and ill-manner to utter like that asking them to move elsewhere.
Now when they need to put the boxes on the right side of the stall without obstructing the passage.   You are ever ready to fine them.  On 17th May, 2013, someone was fined RM50 and almost everybody thinks that Tiong Thai King who always acted so “kind and considerate “ before 5/5, now he is showing his true colour.  I think it is very, very and very bad of you and you will only cause even more dissatisfaction and grievances towards the BN government.  I mind you the BN government cannot afford that anymore.
People told me Tiong Thai King was very unhappy for losing in the 13th general election.   He expected the full support for him and wanted to win again.   Someone even if he got all the support from the stall-holders, he still could not garner enough to win .  But he was really disappointed.   Hence, he resorted to fault-finding and made life difficult for the stall-holders.  I hope this is not true.  Whether it is true /not, be careful, it is because we people record/ register all the happenings in our hearts and minds.  We definitely pass on these facts for generation to generation.
We cannot live forever in this world but we can do something good and this good thing will last forever in this world.   This is how I see the progress of human conditions in this world.  You can do it, too with both hands.  Please make this world a better place for yourselves and others.  Then together we can generate positive force for your own good, others and the good for this country.  I believe you have Fear for God, too, right!
Be flexible and think [n] times whenever you want to take any action against any stall-holder as they are working so hard for survival.  These people also pay your salaries.

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Yours faithfully,
  Moihung
( Ling Moi Hung )
