KUCHING: The
Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign is important to strengthen unity in Malaysia,
says Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Snowdan Lawan.
He said all
Malaysians should fly the national flag with pride.
“We in the Sarawak government also hope
that our youths in Sarawak will inculcate the spirit of Malaysia Day and
respect of the independence of the Malayan states as well.
“Malaysians,
especially the young people, must make sure that they all know about our
history, Malaysian history, and the independence history,” he said after the
launching of the Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign and Kembara Merdeka convoy at
Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.
Snowdan said it is very important for
the younger generation to know not just about the history of the Malayan
federation but also Sarawak’s history as well.
He said every
celebration, be it National Day, Malaysia Day, or Sarawak Day, should be
respected by all Malaysians.
Snowdan, who
represented Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, affixed the
Jalur Gemilang on federal and Sarawak government vehicles before the Kembara
Merdeka convoy flag-off.
A total of 15 vehicles from various
agencies including the Sarawak Federal Secretary Office, Malaysian
Communications and Multimedia Commission, Telekom Malaysia, Pos Malaysia
Berhad, RTM, National Film Development Corporation, Bernama, and Sarawak
Information Department, took part in the convoy.
My comments:
Only an
idiotic person will think that The Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign is important
to strengthen unity in Malaysia which is actually Malaya in reality. Only the traitor is blind to the domination
and colonisation of the Malaya government over Sarawak. What kind of unity, I wonder, Assistant
Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Snowdan Lawan sees in flying the Malayan
flag which has degraded and degraced Sarawak from a nation into one of the 13
states of the federation of Malaya in disguise of Malaysia? I wonder if he has any sense of shame saying
that flying the Malayan “is important to strengthen unity….”
How can he
expect Sarawakians to fly the Malayan flag which stands for disgrace, humiliation, domination
and colonisation of Malaya over Sarawak?
Sarawakians, I believe, more than 80% will sneer and feel disgusted at
Snowdan Lawan and Dr Yii of DAP for accepting this disgrace and humiliation
with grace and pride. Yes, we feel
ashamed of these traitors.
I hope that
those Sarawakians who are fully aware of the domination and colonisation of the
Malayan government in disguise of Malaysia over Sarawak will vote GPS and PH
out in PRN12 Sarawak election. We shall
seek Sarawak Independence and the recognisation of the United Nations once and
for all.
I hope to see
these pieces of Malaya flag to come down one by one in Sarawak. To be frank, I feel abhorred at the sight of
this Malayan flag which, I repeat, stands for domination, colonisation,
disgrace and humiliation to us, Sarawakians. Ling Moi Hung
