Sunlight Versus Artificial light

Points to Points  (5)
                                      Sunlight Versus Artificial light
The Sibu Central Market is beautiful, magnificent and commanding in every way.  However, the lack of energy conservation consciousness and the greed of the lights installation contractor as well as the negligence of the authority concerned to oversee the work are just plain enough to every civic-minded citizen.
Do you have better reasons to tell us why there are so many fluorescents lights installed along the driveway?  Tell us why the lights are switched on when the sunlight is many times brighter than the artificial light.  You may say at night these fluorescent lights are required.  Think over it:  Do we really need so many fluorescent lights along the way?  After all, do the drivers also switch on the car lamps while driving at night?
Do you have better reasons to tell us why there are so many fluorescent lights installed on each floor?  Tell us why the fluorescent lights are switched on where there is sufficient sunlight all along the sides of the parking lots.
Do you have better reasons to tell us why there are so many fluorescent lights and why they are installed so far above on the ground floor?   Tell us why the fluorescent lights are not installed just 10 feet above the floor so that we do not need so many fluorescent lights.  We also don’t need to cause unnecessary energy wastage!
Do you still have the records of the cost of each fluorescent lamp and installation?  Did you think that our Sibu Central Market in fact only needs about half the number of the fluorescent lamps?
Find out how frustrated we, taxpayers feel to think of the fact that the hard earned money is so wasted through this irrational energy wastage and payment for unnecessary installation.
Try to understand how exasperatingly, we, taxpayers endure when the authorities concerned does not take actions to remedy the situations and let the problem of energy wastage continue.
Be empathetic enough to sense how desperately, we , taxpayers tolerate when the authorities concerned shirk their responsibilities to improve the conditions through cautious management and avoid unnecessary wastage.
Be sensitive enough to know how agitated, we, taxpayers, are when we are asked to pay more and more taxes and we have to face price hiking in every item.
Be wise enough to think how agitatedly, we, taxpayers, undergo daily
when the authorities concerned are lackadaisical in their approach.
Remember not to take people for granted.  Please be attentive to our complaints or suggestions with due care.
