Our X-CM, Taib Mahmud of 33 years, what has he done to
mitigate the flood conditions in the rural areas in Sarawak? We have abundant of rain water to enjoy.
But our BN government failed to harvest this natural
bounty. So “Nine villages experience
acute water shortage”. (The Borneo
Post 29/3/2014)
This acute water shortage is further compounded by the
time restriction to collect water from 8am to 12 and 2.30pm to 5pm. So it is not done in people-centred way at their convenience.
The prolonged drought
has brought the 9 villages on Bruit Island in Mukah division into such a
stressful, distressed and depressing state. Whose fault is it?
This prolonged drought has affected the livelihood and
daily activities adversely. Do the BN
government care about the welfare of water supply to these people?
Ya, these people have to queque for hours for their
turn to collect the water at restricted time.
But if they fail within these allotted hours, they go empty handed.
It is reported that New CM, Adenan Satem has taken
note of the plights of these villagers in facing this water woe of acute
shortage. I hope he also sees the deluge
in other time in his mind’s eye.
I hope the people are wise and daring eought to give the PR the
chance in 2016 and try out this group of agents for their
own sake and good.
So they said Tanjung
Manis MP …Abdul Rahman sent clean water and mineral water to 9 fishing villages
by a fleet of fishing boats last month.
I wonder why he didn’t look into the real causes of
the problem people face and deal with it urgently and forcefully as well as
aggressively for their wellbeing, why???????
Again, I have to repeat anxiously and neurotically
that the people must know their rights and fight fiercely for the basic facilities
without care.
It is the people’s decision and will that count. The people must know that the every survival
of the BN government depends on them. To keep /kick, they can choose.
