Tweets Emergency cases 18/11/2014
I believe a
special committee should be set up to tackle the rundown school buildings
urgently while waiting for the new project to take place.
Just like the
Rela/PPS/whatever the name which serve the same purpose to help the police to
maintain the laws and order at different places.
This committee
should help the authority concerned to handle any rickety /dilapidated /rundown
buildings which may collapse at any time.
All these
buildings should be seen as emergency cases requiring attention urgently to
prevent untoward /tragic happenings that can be avoided.
For
school premises which pose danger of collapsing at anytime should be braced with whatever beams and poles to keep them securely in
place.
Beefing
up the security of the school buildings by whatever means should be taken
before it is too late. So a special
committee is justified.
If I
am not mistaken based on the reports I got, there are at least 600+ such rickety buildings
in Sarawak and Sabah as a result of long years of negligence and apathy.
Or………I
think the BN government should be prepared to face the tribunal / to be sued
just in case if any tragedy has taken place just because of negligence and
apathy.
