‘Teachers pledge to praise, not to bury govt’  (BP 6/6/2014), so all the teachers in Sarawak are forced to sign “Agreement I promise” to pledge their loyalty to the King, the country and the government.

The BN leaders were not happy when some teachers posted their support for DAP candidate, Dyana Sofya during by-election on the social media like Facebook

This “Agreement I promise” is signed by the teachers and all the government servants in Sarawak at the gunpoint.  This is the forced loyalty and so it is false, too.

“Water treatment Plant/WTP management gets mixed report card” (BP17/6/2014), the auditors ”found maintenance work 6 out of 14 unsatisfactory“.

“Assess needs, impact before project launch –AG’s Report” (BP17/6/2014)  It was found “procurements not in compliance to financial regulations by Sibu Municipal Council“

‘Residents complain no end to water woe’(The Borneo Post/BP 12/June/2914).  Ya, about 35,000 in Simunjan have been so affected by low lever of reservoir water since last month to date.

Ya, they have related the issue to Naroden, their representative but he is as helpless as ‘a baby’.  Instead of thinking every possible way, he chose to ignore them.

Hence the people resorted to asking JKR for water rationing but they failed to provide either.   The PKR pact even helped them stage a demonstration to get attention but to no avail.

This again I think Simunjanians should wake up from their slumber and show their determination for a change:  No more support for the BN representative anymore.

For this, the community leaders should set their minds for change and lead their communities wisely and selflessly all for the good and improvement.

Check to find out whether it is true each of the BN representatives is allocated ONE million in ringgit for Minor Rural Project/MRP.   Check how many representatives are willing to give out.

‘Long Road to help Penans’ (BP 16June2014)  See how these volunteers from the Brunei Rotary Club led by the artist Tan Wei Kheng helped the Penans in Ba Bare.

It is the ‘heart’ that counts, despite of difficulties and hardships, they tried to build a dam at the top of a mountain and to pipe in water all the way to their houses.

They paid for everything renting the trucks to transport the materials to install pipes to get clean water from the mountain as the people cannot use the polluted water from the stream /river nearby.

The logging activities have polluted the water there.  In sympathy, Tan mooted the ideas and got the volunteers to help install piped water from the mountain top.

I hope they will shoot documentary film to show the world if you have the ‘heart’ to do something, you can move the mountain.   Why doesn’t the BN government have the short and long term plans to solve this problem?

Tan and his friends from the Brunei Rotary Club would go to other villages nearby to help, too.   It took them 7 hours to reach Ba Bare from Miri.  But they did not mind as they really wanted to help the poor and weak people there.  Who is the representative there???????

‘RM1.16 million in welfare aid for Miri every month’ (The Borneo Post 17June,2014) What an amount!  But does it really reach the recipients in full amount?

‘Govt mulls gravity-feed water supply to beat drought for Rh Seman Reggie’  (The Borneo Post 17June2014) But they have to make a feasibility study first.

The proposed project at the said dam which was built by a logging company years ago would cost RM98,000 as estimated and they believed the water in the dam could last for 3 droughty months.

…Syvester Entri Anak Muran said a feasibility study was needed as they had a similar case in Sungai Asap and “the idea for a gravity-feed water supply system was scrapped”

Ya, he said it was alright for the local community requesting for the said project but it must be technically sound and viable.  Well, well, well……..

I hope the local community leaders would seek for second opinions just in case the said feasibility study rejected your request as other experts might think otherwise.

I hope the people in the area should fight for their rights without any fear until they hear you and until they have tested every possibility to get this God-gifted bestowal once and for all.

Very few leaders from the BN pact would fight for your rights.  If you don’t believe me just check and see how many BN leaders would sign to request for the hike of oil and gas royalties.

Check how many proposed projects our BN leaders desired made a feasibility study.  A feasibility study is always a very good excuse to shirk off their responsibility.
