As a role model to all

As a model to all 20/11/2014
“PTPTN is like other financial institutions”  (BP 14/11/2014)  O….the full name of PTPTN is The National Higher Education Fund Corporation.  The corporation intends to make it like other financial institutions “with the listing of default borrowers in the Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS)” from 01/01/2015.

This corporation is an institution which is said to provide and manage loans to 2.1 million borrowers.   For the loans that have been disbursed and of course are expected to be paid back in full so that others can use them for the same purpose.

Ng….forget about the hefty fee to pay to receive higher education in one own country for the time being.  Just talk on borrowing and repayment, yayaya………to list the default borrowers in the Central Credit Reference Information System from 01/01/2015 will definitely serve as a good model for all who get loans from the government in whatever manners and ways to force-repayment in the same manners.  Goodlah!!!!!!!!!

Be fair and square.  Please adopt the same mentality to force-repayment of the NFCorp which has borrowed RM250 million but has only paid back RM30million for 2 and a half years already.  I hope that “ the CCRIS, a Bank Negara database system which stores information of borrowers reported by financial institutions“ will be fair and just to all and will do the same things to the “big guns” whoever they are.  For the late 33 years, list out all who have got the loans/whatever from the government and failed to pay back.

We, people are watching how justice is carried out in our country.   We know it is easy to deal with people with no social positions at all.  But we want to see the guts of our Bank Negara to deal with the moguls who usually carry the title Tan Sri /Datuk/Datin/whatever.

Year after year since time immemorial, our Public Accounts Committee has good records of how the taxpayers’ money have been embezzled and swindled by our government servants from Prime minister to the officials in different rankings in different manners.  Please set up a system to get all the money back.

Be empathetic enough 20/11/2014

  Be empathetic enough 20/11/2014
I think it is very unwise/unmindful of Voon Shiak Ni, PKR National women vice chairman to say, “Never abandon your kids, problem parents told”.  I think she should be empathetic enough to view the plight from socio-economic perspective, ignorance of where to get assistance, look for the representative, the community leader and the condition of desperation.

Saying like this to the said illiterate and ignorant single mother is out of context and it sounded more like “sprinkle salt to the wound”.   It is apathetic/mindless to say like that.  I believe this lady was in the dark where she could seek help.  After she had divorced from her husband without any alimony to keep up the minimal life expenses, her income working as a helper in a coffee could hardly keep the life going.

So she only brought along a son whom, I guess may be fathered by her new husband.  It was actually not her first intention to abandon them.  Things happened when the relative she entrusted the children failed to make them feel comfortable with her.  So they left the place for good on their own accord without knowing the danger lurking around them.

I believe the children now are in the better hand to be brought up.  At least they are at a better place to get education and nutrition for proper growth.

I see that something has gone really wrong in the late 33 years as a result of long years of negligence and apathy of the rural development and growth.  Thus there have been an influx of rural to urban migration.  The displacement left many people in dire straits ending up in low paid job for a decent and comfortable living.

I hope Ms Voon will think and see  the problem from socio-economic perspective to understand the desperation of parents who resorted  to abandoning their children intentionally or unintentionally.  I believe in future, there will be more occurrences of such plight of parents who are forced to abandon their children for good out of desperation.  As I believe the extreme of wealth distribution between the rich and the poor is the main cause of this problem.

In my mind’s eye, I see that the children are at a better place though in separation with their parents.  I really see this be the curse of our BN government who fails to develop the rural areas and create job opportunities for people to earn a decent living.

The said single mother, I believe, is as helpless as her daughters needing of support, knowledge and good advice to live at ease with herself and the world.

Self-centred 18/11/2014

Self-centred 18/11/2014
“SMC on mission to rid town of aedes breeding grounds”  (BP11/11/2014)  Andrew Wong, Wong Soon Koh’s son who has a Dato title at such a young age set out to destroy the vegetables and fruits the residents in the area grew on the illegal grounds in Lane 8, Jalan Wawasan.

He said “after receiving numerous complaints” as there was stagnant water in the said area and it might worsen the dengue problem in Sibu.  So he ordered the council’s contractor to clean the area without mercy.

He said no growing of vegetables and fruits were allowed in open space with determination as he believed that any activity like this would create breeding grounds for aedes mosquitoes.  This is the reasoning of a rich man’s son, the second generation of a political clown.

I guess there are some ulterior motives in the action.  If everyone grows their own fruits and vegetables in open space,  this will affect the businesses of those selling fruits and vegetables .  The vegetable stalls at the Sibu Central Market may close down as a result.  This definitely will affect the income of SMC and may affect him.

As I see 90% of the drain water in Sibu so stagnant but SMC has done so little to deal with the problems.  The stagnant drain water is actually the breeding grounds of aedes mosquitoes.   But Andrew Wong just overlooks it to the contempt of the Sibuans.

The food court at the Sibu Central Market underwent renovation a month or 2 ago.  He decided how the tables and seats should be arranged at the food court without first consulting the stallholders.

As a result,  there are problems of tables and seats being placed too near to each other.   In some areas, the tables fixed too near to the mouth of the stall.  These problems were reported in See Hua Daily News weeks ago.

The stalls at the wet market were also arranged without first consulting fishmongers and so there have been many complaints about the stalls being so inconveniently arranged by a feet or two short in between stalls for them to do business comfortably.    Does he care to attend to these complaints?

The gunshot at his house has not wakened him up of being people-centred, -friendly and –minded.  Ya, he flew over many to take the seat of Deputy chairman of SMC.  What he has done always provokes people intensely.  He is too anxious to prove himself without thinking, knowing and caring the needs of the people and remedies to resolve the problems.

Ya, he is stepping on others to stand up tall and outstanding.  He can’t see the needs of the people for places to do some farming. A good leader will create opportunities to facilitate people, not to squash the livelihood and convenience of the people.

If he were a good leader, he should moot his father to express people’s wish for grounds to grow own fruits and vegetables for own consumption /and sales.

Suppressing and oppressing people will be seen as a man digging his own grave only.  I hope he will go to the ground to understand people and be empathetic enough to quality for the post.  Or……nobody can predict what will happen if he provokes people all the time being too selfish, self-centred and self-interested.
