Mid-way home

Mid-way home                   19/5/2013
To reduce domestic violence at its minimum, I believe in setting up Mid-way home in every town and city to house/ accommodate these victims temporarily / permanently.   Many victims stay on in the house where they are subjected to the violence all the time because they cannot find a better place to stay with their children to consider.   Hence let there be a place for them to go in time of need.
So …………………take action with urgency now.    Just imagine this is you / your sisters / your aunts who need the help.  Register them now and find a place for them now and then look for a permanent home  for them.    We should face up to this fact and the need like an orphanage we have .    Serve them with both hands.  Be honest and sincere to these poor, hungry and helpless victims.
Do you need to wait any longer to give help?  Those who will come for help are always those in desperation.  Do you think besides  filling  up a form, you still need them to look for Kapitan / Temongong to endorse to be qualified after checking their homes like the Welfare Department?
Besides accommodating them, you can train them to become independent persons.  Make them feel like a person with self-dignity and pride to live their life.
        So ………do it now!

Social ills and crimes

Social ills and crimes           19/5/2013
Social ills like drug taking, playing truant, teenage pregnancy, smoking, fighting, bullying, vandalising ……. have become more/less a norm now.  We seem to take them numbly but with no good feelings.  Who is happy to see these?  For the crimes, we witness / experience break-in /burglary,  car theft, stealing, cheating, killing,  robbery, ……………happening almost every day.  Why?  Why?  Why?
I believe in some ill and bad reasons behind them.   I believe in honest and sincere effort from our leaders to gather, sort out, analyse and resolve the problems, at least, reduce them to its minimum.  Now let’s take a look at those who are well-behaved, well-disciplined and self-willed.  Why are these people so positive (+) and why are those so negative (--)?  Take some effort to find out.  Let’s do it together to help them.  Let’s discuss it together.  Get professionals to talk about this.
Do you agree with me when our teenagers go astray, the real cause is up to the lack of parental guidance, love  family conditions, social environment and the bad influence from bad friends and the like.  These teenagers would turn into criminals in the course of time if not checked properly.
I believe in setting up community service centres everywhere to help, guide, direct and engage them in constructive and creative activities.  Get them to commit themselves to some activities like sports, games, handicraft, dancing, singing, chess playing, giving tuition, learning cookery, baking, chess playing, reading, writing ……………..  Start now!  Let these community service centres be the place where parents are willing and feel grateful for the help.
I believe in having parks / recreational areas for teenagers to dispense their energies.   Always demarcate an area in the place where there are about 50 houses for children and teenagers to go during their free time.   Look, if our teenagers are guided, helped, engaged and directed properly,  who will still go astray?    I believe in mind-focus that rules a person to good / bad behaviour.
It is mind-focus that decides all.
For those engaged in crimes, catch them, jail them and train them with some skills,  find jobs for them and list them in contact.  There should be regular check up on them to make sure that they are still on the job or find job for them again.  I think our whole society should be prepared to give this assistance and for this understanding so that nobody is wasted in anyway.  An individual will find life meaningful and interesting and so is happy.
The feeling of happiness will generate good force for the good of everybody.  When a person plunges to his /er death, this will only generate negative and bad force that brings curses to everyone.  Ponder on this!

A Letter to Sibu Municipal Council

A Letter to Sibu Municipal Council                 19/5/2013
Dear Chairman and the enforcement officers,
On behalf of all the stall-holders at the wet market ,  I plead you always to think before you fine any stall-holders at the wet market /not.
For the stall-holders at the wet market,   I believe you know so well that the stalls are a bit too small for them to do their business comfortably.   The table is too small and the space between one stall and another vertically is at least One and a half feet smaller.   The stall-holders find it hard to accommodate the Orange boxes though you have improved the facilities like the good drianage and slanting table
When the stall-holders told you the fact, someone told them to leave / do business elsewhere.  Well, well, well, well, it is not democratic in practice.  Being democratic means [People First.  Your boss!], you must consider their needs and resolve the problems with them.  You don’t act bossy to them.  It is abusive and ill-manner to utter like that asking them to move elsewhere.
Now when they need to put the boxes on the right side of the stall without obstructing the passage.   You are ever ready to fine them.  On 17th May, 2013, someone was fined RM50 and almost everybody thinks that Tiong Thai King who always acted so “kind and considerate “ before 5/5, now he is showing his true colour.  I think it is very, very and very bad of you and you will only cause even more dissatisfaction and grievances towards the BN government.  I mind you the BN government cannot afford that anymore.
People told me Tiong Thai King was very unhappy for losing in the 13th general election.   He expected the full support for him and wanted to win again.   Someone even if he got all the support from the stall-holders, he still could not garner enough to win .  But he was really disappointed.   Hence, he resorted to fault-finding and made life difficult for the stall-holders.  I hope this is not true.  Whether it is true /not, be careful, it is because we people record/ register all the happenings in our hearts and minds.  We definitely pass on these facts for generation to generation.
We cannot live forever in this world but we can do something good and this good thing will last forever in this world.   This is how I see the progress of human conditions in this world.  You can do it, too with both hands.  Please make this world a better place for yourselves and others.  Then together we can generate positive force for your own good, others and the good for this country.  I believe you have Fear for God, too, right!
Be flexible and think [n] times whenever you want to take any action against any stall-holder as they are working so hard for survival.  These people also pay your salaries.

Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Yours faithfully,
  Moihung

Community Services

Community services          17/5/2013
[Prevention is better than cure].   Please set up enough community service centres to help the green, young, ignorant and helpless teenagers.  Help the parents  look after them.  Channel their energies properly for good use.  Direct and guide them for more constructive and creative activities.   You may take a look how Australians do these services to improve ourselves.
For foreign maids, set up the centres for them to turn to in time of needs.

Welfare that I know

Welfare that I know                    17/5/2013
Please improve the Welfare Departments  to help the poor, hungry and helpless people in general properly.   Lately, I came across a case in Sibu and one of the applicants had only been paid RM60 a month and was terminated without giving any reason.  She applied again on 2 May,2013 and now I have no idea whether she has got the help properly.  I expect the pay-up for the period when she had not been given for two years.
She once faced unfriendly and unkind workers there.
Be sincere and honest, please!
Please let the public know how much has been allocated for this department and how much has been given out Please list out to help the Welfare Department and help the poor, hungry and helpless people properly.
On behalf of the people, I plead our BN government to revise the payment in accordance to the needs of the people, not according to what you think.
To prevent some dirty hands from taking the amount meant for the poor, hungry and helpless  to be put into their own accounts.  Let us, the public know whom they give and how much every month.  Be accountable, please!  Prove yourselves to be worthy of our trust.
That day, when I reached there, the first time in my life, the director /manager there told me RM2 million plus had been given out.  It is a big amount!  But how do we know the money is given to the right persons, not being pocketed by someone and someone?
