21 reasons why Tun Mahathir cannot become prime minister

21 reasons why Tun Mahathir cannot become prime minister

(Malaysian Chinese News) – A pilot lists out on his Facebook 21 reasons why Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Mahathir cannot become the prime minister and he is especially thankful of Mahathir’s bumiputra policy that forced him to become a pilot.  Calling himself Thiru, he said he graduated with a doctorate degree in civil engineering but learned that the “Indian quota” for lecturers in local universities had been filled. So he signed up as a “guest lecturers” on a contract renewable once in a few months. Another university offered him to be an associate professor.
He said mockingly that in order to fulfill Mahathir’s “bumiputra only” policy, he tried to go to the US to take up a post-doctorate programme which he was qualified.  However, he did not expect that this programme was also limited to bumiputra only which made him unable to pursue an academic career.  He was eventually forced to become a pilot.
“Now Mahathir wants to save a ‘Malaysia which practises racial
discrimination’.”
Thiru asks Pakatan supporters whether to let Mahathir ‘save Malaysia’ or ‘save Malaysia from Mahathir’?
Thiru thinks there are 21 reasons that Mahathir cannot become the prime minister. He says:
  • When I was in primary two, Mahathir tried quietly to control the tin market through Maminco Holdings.  When the tin market collapsed, his firm lost US$253 million (equivalent to RM985 million).  Eventually, the company closed down. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from mismanagement.
  • He caused BMF to lose RM2.5 billion in the Hong Kong financial scandal and now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ a financially mismanaged Malaysia.
  • Due to his ambition to develop heavy industry, Perwaja Steel was set up and lost RM10 billion. Eric Cheah became the scapegoat.   Now Mahathir says he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from losing GLCs.
  • His privatization policy is in reality to pass to his cronies national public amenities, including electricity power, telecommunications and even railway network giving birth to super-rich Malays and multi-billionaires and widening the wealth disparity among the bumiputra.    Now Mahathir says he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from such bad policies.
  • His speculation on foreign exchange in 1985 resulted in Bank Negara’s loss of US$10billion in foreign reserves. And now he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from foreign exchange deficit.
  • MAS lost RM8billion in a span of eight years but he kept helping it financially. Even when MAS shares fell from RM8 to RM3, the government used public funds to buy up its shares at RM8. He received a 32% stake while the RM1.8 billion from public funds had gone to businessman Tan Sri Tajuddin. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from kleptomaniac.
  • The PKFZ scandal had resulted in a loss of RM4.6 billion. He freed himself leaving behind Tun Ling Liong Sik. Now Mahathir says he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia.
  • Under the programme to nurture bumiputra suppliers, he forced Proton and other industries to buy from designated suppliers on long term basis. And now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from money politics.
  • He belittled WTO and raised import tax on foreign cars up to 300% forcing people to buy Proton on bank loans stretching up to nine years. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from trade protectionism.
  • He neglected Sabah and Sarawak’s development for 22 years and now he says East Malaysians should rely on self-improvement rather than financial aids. Mahathir now says he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from the J community, K community, Sabah and Sarawak.
  • Under Operasi Lalang, he jailed people he didn’t like without trial and now he says he would ‘save’ Malaysia from such wrongdoings.
  • He suspended three newspapers and jailed editors for reporting his political and financial scandals. Now he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from the oppression of press freedom.
  • He weakened the power of the monarchy and laid down the unprecedented principle placing executive power above that of judiciary. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from government intervention of the judiciary.
  • He changed the population composition of Sabah by launching his IC project in increasing hugely the number of immigrants leading to the Lahat Datu incident. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from the serious immigration problem.
  • He blamed financial speculator George Soros and the Jews for the devaluation of the ringgit. When that failed, he turned and blamed the deputy prime minister for being a gay and sacked him. Now Mahathir says he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from the abuse of human rights.
  • When his former deputy and family were having dinner, he sent people to break up the glass door and kidnapped him in front of his family members and put him in jail. Now he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from political persecution.
  • He sent people to assault his former deputy and pretended he was shocked. Subsequently, he set up police independent panel to investigate the incident but the panel died a natural death with the withdrawal of funds. Now he wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from a police state.
  • When he realized the ringgit will soon collapse, he, instead of repaying the debts, forced the merger of a group of leading banks comprising some profitable banks and his cronies to redistribute resources and also stopped people from depositing money overseas. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from capital control.
  • He repeatedly blamed the Jews and regarded Schindler’s List is a movie appealing for sympathy for the Jews. The movie was banned in Malaysia. Zoran Nikolic the KL/Selangor footballer was sacked after winning the Malaysia Cup because he has a Serbian passport. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from religious fundamentalism.
  • During his reign, he used racialism to divide the people through the top national academic institution. He tried to convince this institution that race A is superior than race B and C because B and C are ‘outsiders’ and not bumiputra. Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from racism.
  • He once accused Lim Kit Siang for practising nepotism by making his son Lim Guan Eng the chief minister of Penang. Isn’t it nepotism when he allowed his son Mukhriz to become Kedah menteri besar? Now Mahathir wants to ‘save’ Malaysia from nepotism and cronyism.

Blog, Tweet and Facebook 23/12/2018 Hopeless

Blog, Tweet and Facebook 23/12/2018    Hopeless
It has been a grave mistake of Harapan Pakatan to select Dr M, the most evil-minded one in the whole federation of Malaysia to be the Prime Minister.  He has been too abusive, autocratic, self-cnetred, corrupt,  crony-minded, greedy, megaglomaniac, nepotic and selfish to uphold the principles of democracy.
He has tarnished and squashed all the good intentions of HP to build a new and better Federation of Malaysia consisting of three nations of equal status Peninsular Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak.  Though we have been denied the equal status and colonised since time immemorial, after 509, we Sarawakians are more determined than ever before to fight for independence to quit from the federation of Malaysia which stands for plundering, exploitation, oppression, suppression, robbery and bullying.
The devil is said to be the master-mind in every evil work in the federation of Malaysia.  He practised centralisation of power to plunder, exploit, oppress, suppress, rob and bully others at will.  There is no secret in the age of internet to tell how much money the Mahathir family and his cronies have embezzled during his 22 years as PM in the federation of Malaysia.   He is so smart to keep the money in Isreal which the federation of Malaysia has no diplomatic relationship to do investigation.  However, I believe that the Mahathir family and his cronies will have to face the tribunal some day.  Their time will come and we want as much justice to be done as they do on Najib and his cronies.
He denied the development of Sabah and Sarawak.   These Malayan masters have amassed ill-gotten mega wealth and hidden overseas.  I believe in retribution to every evil-doer.  I guess that the time for the Mahathir family and his cronies to face the tribunal is not too far away.
Where is justice in the federation of Malaysia?  When Najib and his accomplices are put to trials, I think that many people like me are looking forwards to the trials of the Mahathir family and his accomplices as well.  We shall enjoy watching the arch robber catching other robbers and in the end, the arch robber is caught eventually to justify the situation.  (大贼抓小贼,最后抓到谁。太好玩了)
When the devil was asked to preach integrity among the civil servants,  he preached without knowing that 99% of the civil servants know too well how corrupt and colluded he was as PM from 1981 to 2003.  He was forced to abandon the seat of PM in 2003 reluctantly when he saw the power of people at that time to dethrone Suharto.
He is too autocratic, self-centred, corrupt, greedy and selfish to believe in reformation in favour of democracy which is people-centred and –friendly in every practice.  That is why he rejected the introduction of local government which involves people from different strata of the society and wide-awareness of individual citizen of their responsibility and commitment.

WHAT 22 DECEMBER MEANS FOR MIRI

lauhsion73 1:28 AM
WHAT 22 DECEMBER MEANS FOR MIRI
22 December is the most significant date for Miri. Exactly 108 years ago, Miri Well No. 1 on Canada Hill struck oil!
Affectionately known as the Grand Old Lady, the wooden derrick erected at 79m above sea level began to produce an initial 83 barrels per day under the laborious cable tool method – a system used by the Chinese as early as 221AD to trap underground salt.
The oil find subsequently lifted a small fishing village on the coast of Sarawak into the spotlight to become the oil town of Borneo.
In fact, oil has a long history in Sarawak. From the 11th century, petroleum was reported among Chinese imports from Sarawak, produced from hand-dug wells in Miri. The oil, which seeped out from the ground was called “minyak tanah” by the local population.
In 1882 the Resident of the fourth Division by the name of Mr de Crespigny reported 18 hand-dug oil wells in Miri. Charles Hose in 1888 began mapping oil seeps in Miri and brought oil samples to the attention of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group. The first Sarawak Oil Mining Lease was signed in 1909 by the Rajah in London.
The first exploratory well was on a hill in Miri in 1910 worked by a few Canadians giving rise to the name “Canada Hill”. The well struck light crude at a depth of 425 ft. on 22nd December 1910, and generated 80million barrels of oil for 61 years.
Canada Hill oil field was closed on 31st October 1972 and today, the Grand Old Lady stands as testament and monument to the opening chapter of the oil and gas industry in Sarawak.
SARAWAK HOLDS 23% OF MALAYSIA’S OIL RESERVES AND 46% OF GAS RESERVES
SARAWAK OIL IS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER AND MOST EXPENSIVE IN THE WORLD.
SARAWAK CAN PRODUCE UP TO 850,000 BOE IN ONE SINGLE DAY!

Rep claims contracts in S’wak terminated to stop leaks

Chiew Chiu Sing
BINTULU: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) federal government has terminated project contracts involving huge sums of money in Sarawak to stop leakages, according to Tanjong Batu assemblyman Chiew Chiu Sing.
The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Bintulu chairman claimed in a press statement yesterday that this is because the federal government knows that funds allocated to Sarawak have not been used properly, making the cuts necessary to save the country from further future losses and wastage.
He said while it is good Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has said federal projects in Sarawak would proceed, the funds would go missing should they fall into the wrong hands.
According to him, if Sarawak is still managed by the same group of people, the public would not be able to benefit from the projects.
“We in Sarawak must make drastic reforms. We know that under the present regime, many of the policies are beneficial only to the cronies or the big companies.
“If we do not change after 55 years of their rule, we can only get worse as the gap between the rich and the poor will worsen. From history, we can know that if the situation is not improved, the stability of society and the state will be further weakened,” stated the DAP Sarawak deputy chairman.
He claimed the current policies only benefited a few people, which could be seen in the ‘Sarawak for Sarawakians’ mindset.
According to Chiew, this is where only a small group hope to continue to rule and benefit, and that they are the only ones who can call themselves Sarawakian.
He pointed out that Sarawak has abundant land resources which many states or even countries lack, yet the people face problems of not being able to obtain land.
“This is most disappointing and ironic. Scarcity of land makes the price of houses go up, which in turn directly affects the low-income people,” said Chiew.
He suggested reforming land policy and allowing more people to apply for and obtain land for agriculture, which would not only benefit the people, but also improve economic development and productivity as well as attract more foreign investment.

My comments:
This is another federal-centred, minded, and oriented traitor and idiot who speaks from the federal autocratic standpoint.   If Sarawak had the contracts with China or countries elsewhere, would the countries dealing with Sarawak say like that?  Well, let Sarawakians tell you what we decide to do in 2021.  All Malayan parties should get out of Sarawak for good, otherwise, we will see more traitors and idiots like Chiu Sing Chiew (DAP).

Photo shows debris along the side of Jalan Kapit-Song due to the landslide.

KAPIT: A landslide has occurred along Jalan Kapit- Song, after the Sungai Lajang bridge, around 20 minutes’ drive from Song bazaar.
Heavy rainfall is believed to have triggered the landslide, causing earth, stones, and debris to wash down the hillside by the side of the R3- standard road.
It is understood that the landslide also blocked part of the storm drain in the area.
While the road is passable, further rain could cause more landslides and endanger road users, especially motorcyclists.
Road users have called on the authorities concerned to address the issue, as landslides are said to occur frequently in the area.
They have also requested the authorities to erect warning signs to ensure motorists are alert and more cautious when using the stretch of road.  Jalan Kapit- Song, which is 44km long, was completed in October.
The journey between Song and Kapit now takes just an hour by road.

My comments:
Landslides on various scales often happen in Kapit.  Kapit is at the downstream of Bakun and Murum dams.  It is understood that it is prone to this problem as Kapit is on the hilly area.  I got all this information through the reports in the Borneo Post.
