I hope Adenan will prove himself to be really different
from Taib Mahmud. Ya, he has proved
himself in 3 things that I believe he really gains his credits in merits.
He is guty to put his feet down with the sounds big
enough for every Sarawakian to hear that he wants the hike of oil and gas
royalties from 5% to 20%.
Ya, within 100 days, he declared the allocations of
RM800 million for the rural development and upgrading from the state’s
coffer. Ya, he has the “heart “ for the
people.
For the plead of medical fees for DAP Wong Ho Leng, he
approved RM1 million. If it were Taib
Mahmud, an evil-inclined person, I really
doubt if he would do the same.
Had Taib Mahmud ever pleaded for the hike of the oil
and gas royalties in his 33 years as the chief minister of Sarawak? Ya, Sarawak state government has the right to
have the terms reviewed yearly.
Let’s find out How much he had allocated altogether for
the rural development and upgrading in
his 33 years of ministry as the chief minister of Sarawak?
Now the United Chinese Associations has requested
Adenan for the alienation of land for non-Bumiputra so that they can do farming
on a small scale for a living.
Whether Adenan will grant this favour for the overall
goodness, well-being and welfare of Sarawakians depends on how people-minded,
-centred and friendly he is.
In the past, it was almost impossible for this request
unless you could pay a handsome sum of money to Taib Mahmud. We know the megawealth he possesses now is 95%
ill-gotten.
He gained all the material wealth at will all through
but lost his soul in exchange in the transactions. He is the symbol of greed, selfishness, and self-interest
to the extreme.
