The packaged special rights 8/12/2013
Mandela was fighting hard to undo racial apartheid and
he was jailed 27 years. In Malaysia, the
apartheid is obvious, too in policies to discriminate the Chinese. But this apartheid is done with the evil
motives of the BN political thugs to create the tension between the Bumiputra
and non-Bumiputra in order to gain the support of the Bumiputra to grasp the
power forever so that they can plunder
and loot at will.
The special rights / privileges of Bumiputra, of
course, blurred them to think straight what they got in the first place. Everything seemed to be at their
disposal. But without the power and position
to access, the privileges remain as hollow as unfulfilled promises. They have received so many promises over the
years but how many promises have been fulfilled
from the rural to the urban, only the individual can tell clearly. There is a need to do the survey to find out
the truth objectively.
It was reported that 600 rural schools and hostels in
Sarawak and Sabah where 99% of the student population are Bumiputra were in
dilapidated /deplorable state. In this respect, where are their privileges ? Many schools, I believe have no proper and
regular water and electricity supply.
Mind you, the Bumiputra in Sarawak lack the proper
road system and public transport to go to town.
It is also one of the aching frustrations they face.
Nowadays, if you go to the lanes like Jalan Tong Sang,
Hua Kiew, Bukit Assek, Tiong Hua, Ho Ping and so on in Sibu, Sarawak. All these places have more / less become the
slum for the poor Bumiputra from the rural especially. The rental has increased so much so that in
the past before 2008/so, RM200 -250, they could rent the whole unit. Now, they could only rent a room. It is a room for the whole family! (There was an old Chinese song “A bed for 8
persons in the family” by You Li) (一家8口一张床,姚莉主唱)
I wonder Where their privileges are as Bumiputra? Hence
I see Lies whenever the crowned political clowns harp on Special rights of
Bumiputra? Where they got / not after
checking through for so many Bumiputra as an observer?
Special rights or privileges are true to those who can
take the full advantages at the expense of others. To those,
as alien as the stars in the sky to pluck, special rights are so hollow to them
as sweet dreams at night.
Naidin, Nazri’s loving son can afford RM7.6 million
mansion. With the discount, he paid RM7
million. He confessed that he was not
the sole buyer of the house. I wonder
who are the other owners of the house. How many
Malaysians can afford to buy a RM300,000 house?
I wonder where on earth they got so much money to
indulge in this luxury. What skill and
ability does he have to earn so much money?
After 40 over years, from New Economic Policy to now Bumiputra
Economic Empowerment, how many Bumiputra benefit fairly and properly from this
specially arrangement.
It is like a very, very and very big cake that I often
see these political thugs enjoy whenever there is a celebration. Who can enjoy the cake to the heart’s
content? Well, 99% of us can only enjoy through picture
and some imagination.
